Hi Everyone! 

This is the 1st newsletter for White Rose Thunder, which will take place this fall, September 27-30, 2012, at the York Expo Center.  Efforts have been underway to plan a world class event for over a year now.  And the pieces are falling into place to make sure that White Rose Thunder will be an experience for you like no other!

A successful event requires a few important components. 

1st     You need lots to do.  And the WRT team has already accomplished a lot for your enjoyment.  So far, we have arranged for Flat Track Motorcycle Racing, Concerts (including Mustang Sally and others), entertainment including Biker Billy, Corvette and Muscle Car shows and competitions, motorcyle shows & demo rides, and much more.  Our website, at www.WhiteRoseThunder.com has details, and more news is added regularly. Please take a look – it is sure to rev up your anticipation!

2nd     There must be an outstanding location, and we have it — The York Expo Center.  The Center has acres of paved area, numerous enclosed buildings, a race track, and grandstands.  It is a world class facility!  And York is a beautiful place in the fall.  You will find rolling hills, scenic views, and many things to do in addition to White Rose Thunder.  There will also be York City Bike Night, the Harley-Davidson Factory Open House, and the Jefferson Hill Climbs.  For details on other area attractions, see the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau website at www.york.pa.org.

3rd     We need motorcyclists and people that love motorcycles!  We are spreading word using the website, posters, post cards, letters, emails, and word of mouth.  We have plans for advertising as the event draws nearer, with a couple of our sponsors, 105.7 the X and 98.5 the Peak.  We are on Face Book too.  BUT, WE NEED YOUR HELP!  Please take some time to forward this newsletter to others who might be interested or direct them to our website at www.WhiteRoseThunder.com , where they can sign up for the newsletter too.  A great motorcycle event needs great people to attend, and you can make that happen.

When you look at the website, you will find information for Vendors, Sponsors, Participants and others.  On our Contact page, you will see the  names, numbers, and addresses of key members of the White Rose Thunder leadership team.  If you have a question, want to get involved, or need anything, just let us know.
