Flat Track Motorcycle Racing came back to York, and it was a success!

For your enjoyment, we brought the thrill of flat track motorcycle racing, during White Rose Thunder® and as part of the  2012 AMA Racing All Star National Flat Track series schedule.  We teamed with Steve Nace Racing Promotions to offer you excitement and action on Saturday, September 29, 2012.  Our White Rose Thunder® Race sponsor is Budweiser.

Our race was the culmination of the AMA sanctioned All Star National Flat Track Series in the Northeast.  There was over $25,000 available to the racers who competed for the crowd’s enjoyment on the limestone half mile at the York Expo Center in York, PA.

Race classes included 250 Amateur, 450 Amateur, Open Amateur, Vintage &  Senior ( + 30 ), Pro Singles, Pro Twins, Expert Singles and Expert Twins.

White Rose Thunder ® offered a $5000 DASH FOR CASH!  The six fastest of the “Big Twins” qualified for a chance at the extra “Randy Texter Memorial Dash for Cash.”  The winner of this four lap handlebar banging, limestone slinging, race took home $2500, with second place earning $1500 and third receiving $1000.

Racing ran most of the day, and was watched from the Grandstands.  Additionally, pit passes were available.
